Dubbed the “Fingers Table”, since the joinery of the glass top looks like several fingers gripping it in place. This piece was built by Logan late 2011, shortly after he first starting making the slatted material.
Much like his other designs made with this material, it is simple, light feeling, and made of solid Fir off cuts from door production.
Though this was only a prototype, it’s life ended short when a blow to the glass top happened after an unfortunate stain-glass-window incident (don’t ask). These three photos were taken shortly before, and apparently just in time.
